Gold Intrusion Alarm Monitoring Services

Damar Security Systems prides itself on operating one of the most technologically advanced intrusion and fire signal receiving centers in Canada. All of our operators are trained and certified by the Security Industry Association and the Association of Public Service Communication Officials. Damar Security Systems has be awarded the “Five Diamond” designation by the Central Station Alarm Association. Please click here for information about our Damar Security Response Center.

The following features and benefits are provided without additional charge to premium Gold Monitoring Service customers.

  • Trained and qualified signal receiving center operators are standing by twenty-four hours a day to act upon signals received from your home or business in a friendly, courteous and professional manner while maintaining the highest level of security available.
  • Daily test report or arming and disarming reporting ensures that your intrusion alarm system is on line and operational. By reporting regular signals to our Damar Signal Receiving Center (DSRC) we will become aware of a problem with your system’s communications capabilities and we will take action to ensure that the problem is corrected.
  • Our intrusion alarm systems are designed and programmed to report unique zone indications so that we can identify the origin of signals. All intrusion detection device zones are clearly described in our monitoring computer database and our operators can provide the authorities with an accurate description of the point of entry and progress of an intruder through your home or business.
  • Our highly trained and qualified DSRC staff have detailed operating instructions for your particular type of system and they are able to assist you in the unlikely event that you have difficulties or problems with your Damar Security system. Our industry trained and certificated technical service department personnel are available for you twenty-four hours a day should you require repair service.
  • In our concerted effort to reduce and eliminate unnecessary strain on the police and fire authorities our DSRC staff will attempt to verify that an alarm condition does not exist at your home or business should we receive an alarm signal. We adhere to a strict industry accepted procedure of verification before we notify the police.
  • Since your system is equipped with a rechargeable standby battery, all Damar Security Systems installations include at no additional charge monitoring of the condition of the standby battery and we will notify you in accordance with your instructions should we receive an indication of a problem with the standby battery. In addition, many critical functions within the intrusion alarm control unit and the connecting wiring are continually monitored and if we receive a signal we will notify you in accordance with your wishes.
  • If it is necessary to notify the authorities of an emergency condition at your home or business we will notify you in accordance with your wishes. If we are unable to reach anyone at the time of the event we will continue to call until we can advise you or your representative of the alarm
  • Our DSRC staff will follow up with your or your designated contact person following any alarms or trouble signals received from your intrusion alarm system on the next working day. This ensures that you are aware of the event and provides an opportunity to ask questions or request a technical service call. Should you require additional operational instructions you may request them at the time of the follow up call.
  • You may make changes to keyholder and notification lists at any time. Because all database changes are entered by one staff member and checked and verified by another person we ask that these changes be requested in writing so that there is no opportunity for mistakes and improper information in our monitoring system. Changes can be faxed to 519-336-7508 or toll free to 800-688-7721. Alternatively these changes can be sent by e-mail to csadmin@damar.net. Please be sure to include your proper identification so that we can accept the requested changes.
  • Users of your security system are entitled to Pass Cards that show the information necessary to identify yourself to or DSRC staff. There is no charge to request database changes and to issue pass cards for your alarm system users.
  • As the owner of a security alarm system it is your responsibility to ensure that the call list and authorized user list for the system is kept up to date. If our DSRC staff encounter information that appears to be inaccurate, such as a disconnected telephone number or a cellular number not in service we will follow up with you next working day to update the customer information within our database.
  • There is no limit to the number of persons on the notification list nor is there a limit of the number of authorized users of your security system that we maintain within our Signal Receiving Center computer system.
  • Should you require an occasional computer generated report of the activity on your intrusion alarm system we will be happy to provide it for on a per request basis at no additional charge and we will either fax it or e-mail it to you.

We are sure that the premium monitoring services provided by the Damar Security Response Center are far superior to those offered by any other alarm monitoring service. The combination of a technically advanced monitoring center, trained, caring and qualified signal receiving center operators, and all of the extra special services we provide assures our customers of the absolute best intrusion alarm monitoring services available in Canada today.
