Damar Security Systems

Started with humble beginnings in 1970, Damar Security Systems has grown quite a bit since then.

Damar Security Systems was created by Dave & Marie Currie in the basement of their Sarnia, Ontario home. The name Damar is a combination of their first names - "Da" from Dave and "mar" from Marie. Over the years, through hard work, dedication and determination Dave and Marie grew the business out of their basement and into one of Southwestern Ontario's largest independant full service security providers.

Damar is still headquartered in Sarnia Ontario, with branch offices in Brantford and London and has grown to employ over 65 people. Many of our employees have 20+ years with Damar, which clearly demonstrates the dedication of the employees.

Damar has also partnered with industry leading manufacturers to provide our customers with the absolute best in quality products. Manufacturers such as Honeywell, First Alert Professional, Digital Monitoring Products and Sony. These are just some of the top-tier manufacturers that Damar has formed solid long term relationships with - relationships that provides us with access to the newest products, the best price and access to the best service and support which we then extend onto you, our valued clients.

Damar Security Systems is active in the electronic security industry. We are a founding member of the Canadian Security Association (CANASA) and Dave Currie currently serves on the Education Committee and is an active instructor for the Alarm Technician Training Program.
