What's New At Damar Security Systems
June 19, 2007 - Today the Damar Security Systems family lost a true friend and a very valued employee.
Ken Stevenson, our resident software engineer passed away suddenly from heart failure.
Monday afternoon Ken took a walk down to the Sarnia waterfront to have lunch and during lunch he started
to feel sick.
He was subsequently taken by ambulance to Sarnia General Hospital for treatment and observation.
By noon hour on Tuesday Ken was in good spirits and enjoyed a good lunch. Later in the afternoon Ken was taken from us.
Everyone loved Ken and he was such an inspiration for all of us. He was nicknamed "Repo-Man" for the statistical reports and analysis that he produced on a regular basis.
For some of us here Ken was known as "The Second Dad." He always had a spring in his step and was always positive and upbeat.
Ken loved coming to work here at Damar Security Systems and his enthusiasm for life was an inspiration for all of us.
Ken is survived by his Mother in Montreal, wife Bonni, and daughters Karen and Christine.
On a personal note I have known Ken for about twenty years - both of us were avid roller skaters and we had many great times
together at the former Skate Port Roller Rink in Port Huron Michigan. You will be missed by all of us!
Goodbye my friend!
